The goal when stringing is to achieve a reliable result that would match that achieved by any other competent and conscientious stringer.  In order to be able to do this I was trained by Ray Gooden who many in the Newbury area will know well.  Before moving to Bournemouth Ray ran Racquet & Stringing Solutions and was well known as a top level tournament stringer.  Among many other credentials he ran USRSA stringing courses (see related links), managed the Bow Brand stringing team at Wimbledon and has strung racquets for many of the worlds top tennis professionals.

Unsurprisingly there is more to stringing a racquet than is at first apparent.  Using this website I provide detail on the service I offer as well as plenty of information to help you make an informed choice if you wish to experiment with different strings.  I also provide some information about the machine I use and why knowledge of this matters to you the player if you want to maintain consistent stringing as you

1) A recreational service using a credible inexpensive string for the less competitive player;

2) A competition service using a superior string appropriate to the sport for the club or match player who seeks the advantage a quality string can make to their play;

3) A custom string service can be quoted for by request.  This can lead to a similarly priced option better suited to your play.
